About Alexis King-Glandon

Alexis King-Glandon I am an artist and hobby photographer from Tampa, Florida. I discovered the joy of photography while learning how to take my own reference photos for my paintings and drawings.
I use photography as a means of documenting my self-guided artistic journey to discover immersive environments that help me to create a quiet visual haven from the loud chaos of the everyday. I often use black and white to isolate light and discover intricate detail.

My art has received first and second place ribbons at the county and state level. My photos have won gallery choice award in online competitions and been published in Photographer's Forum Best of 2018 as a finalist in the Spring Annual photography contest.

Recently, my work has been used in a home on HGTV, and I was the only artist at the Lion's Eye Institute for Transplant and Research 2021 Eye Ball gala.
